In the FMCG world, attention is currency. Energy drink brands don’t just compete on taste — they compete on impact. When YELL Energy approached Deadline Monkey, the brief was clear: create a commercial campaign that doesn’t just promote caffeine, but embodies drive, ambition, and zero compromise.

This wasn’t about another beverage ad. It was about building a performance-driven 3D product animation campaign engineered for engagement, recall, and cross-platform scalability.

Business Challenge – Reinventing a Saturated Category

Energy drinks live in one of the most aggressive advertising ecosystems. Feeds are crowded. Viewers scroll fast. Traditional TVC formulas fade quickly.

Production & 3D Workflow – Precision at Pixel Level

We approached production like a trailer shoot — cinematic lighting, choreographed action, high-frame-rate sequences. Every shot was designed with post-production integration in mind.

The product itself was rebuilt in high-fidelity 3D to unlock full control:

  • 3D modelling & advanced look development

  • Physically accurate liquid simulation

  • Condensation micro-detail design

  • HDR lighting environments

  • Seamless compositing integration

  • Cinematic color grading & HDR mastering

This hybrid workflow allowed impossible camera moves, flawless reflections, and total brand consistency across markets.

The difference between average CGI and premium 3D lies in detail. This campaign lived in that detail.
